Canosan Three Spouted Lamp
circa 350 B.C.
Length: 5 1/2 in. spout-to-spout

Terracotta lamp with a white slip and ochre highlights. The decoration surrounding the lamp's oriculum is repeated in the volutes that border the spouts. The lid has a stellate pattern that compliments the overall design. Intact but originally may have been on a pedestal base.
