Corinthian Aryballos

Ten Hoplites carrying shields and spears surround this incised and painted piece in brown and black. Three of the Hoplites are rubbed-off, leaving only an incised "ghost." They are in a dotted field constrained by banding top and bottom. Bottom banding continues into concentric circles. On bottom is penned museum acquistion number (1901.37.)
