Greek Apulian Pelike by the Lecce Painter circa 380-360 B.C. Height: 8-3/4 in.
Depicted are two male Dionysiac revelers. The side A reveler holds a garland wreath above a stele. On Side B, he
holds a similar wreath and a flaming philae in the other hand. Alternatively, the figures are athletes celebrating a victory.
The handle sides have a palmette design.
The top border has a scalloped design (ovolo), while the bottom border has a wave design.

Intact and unrestored with some surface chipping, not affecting the design. Some rubbing to the base.
